I was intrigued with drums at a very young age.
I fondly remember listening to my dad's music as a very young boy; Herb Alpert, Glen Miller, a lot of big band and jazz greats. Then as a fourth grader, as fellow students flocked to the clarinet and recorder, I went to the basement of my elementary school and banged on a rubber pad. I then took formal lessons from a jazz drummer and I was on my way.
Influences include Buddy Rich, Krupa, Charlie Antolini and then classic rock drummers such as Clive Bunker, Bruford Trucks, Mich Mitchell, Bonham.. etc.
